Our Leadership

Alan Swimmer, President & CEO
Alan has over 25 years experience in marine lending and finance. Prior to assuming his current role, Alan owned and operated several specialty finance companies, including Beacon Credit Services, Destination Financial Services and Essex Credit Corporation. A CPA by trade, Alan also actively invests in residential real estate projects and consults informally with other business owners. Prior to employment in consumer lending and real estate industries, Alan was a Certified Public Accountant with a national accounting firm. 

 

George Taylor, Eastern US Operations
George is responsible for overseeing the Eastern US operations for Maritime Capital Group. These operations include financing, all titling, documentation, insurance and closings for nearly 200 vessels monthly. George has over 20 years experience in the sales and finance industry and is a member of the Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals. Prior to joining Maritime Capital Group, George held positions as Finance Director and Business Manager with Ed Morse Automotive Group, Earl Stewart Toyota, Coggin Honda, Mercedes Benz, BMW and Acura.
